Drug rehab Successes - Parents stories
Carol's Story
"My son's arrival as a student on the program was the first
moment of real hope I had for him for over 15 years of his drug use
and addiction. Each year my heart would break a little more as I
watched him suffer all the physical, mental, emotional, and
spiritual ravages of drugs. It would break a little more when I
would watch him try to stop drugs on his own and fail each time. All
the while, I would never stop loving him and remembering how as a
child he was loving, kind, confident, smart, strong, persistent,
funny, good, determined and creative. Drugs took away all those
wonderful qualities. As a mother, I never stopped wanting to see him
be that person again. Every day of my life was wanting that back for
him. My son's completion of the drug rehabilitation program got him
truly rehabilitated from drugs and on to living a life with purpose
and an opportunity to put all his abilities to work to help other
people get off drugs. All of his wonderful personal characteristics
got truly uncovered and he is not only back to the real person, he
is better than ever.
This program is what all drug rehabilitation should be. It has all
the components for true life success that should be to taught to any
and all employees in any and all drug rehabilitation programs in all
the world. When this program is expanded to every state and every
county in the world, we will see the drug problem handled and people
getting on with their lives and contributing to the betterment of
this entire planet.
The staff at the rehab are a phenomenal group of folks to so
successfully get students through the program and back to their
lives. There is no 'Thank You' large enough for what you do but each
person that works there has to know that they are truly saving lives
with every action, every task. Getting one single individual off
drugs has an impact on the families, friends, and loved ones that
they may not actually get to see. As a mother, I can tell you, the
program not only saved his life…it saved mine also."
